I WANT MY “PIRATE” FRINGE BACK LEH!
Monday, March 29, 2010 @ 1:11 PM

Aftermath of rebonding and hairCUT (emphasized the word cos got story behind it) session: my hair is fugly now and that is fucking ugly in short.

Okla give chan. Not really hideously/repulsively/horribly/dreadfully ugly la, but short ugly. It just takes me way back to 2007 when my hair was at its shortest peak and now it’s that short again. Bahhh~ but at least dat time my hair was still acceptable lo. I dun mind the back area being short but she snipped most of my fringe and long “sideburns” off! My fringe, my glory seh dat one. I need my fringe and “sideburns” to hide my chubby face but she snipped it all off. I really dun appreciate that at all.

I got a very weird feeling that she must have been jealous of me.
Hahaha! It’s true lo. Well, it MIGHT be…

when I entered the salon very early Saturday morning, I was greeted by “oh wow! You’re so pretty!” (cheh bedek sia, geram jerrr) by my hairstylist for that day. Please eh before you even imagine anything, I wasn’t all dressed up that day. I was my slack-self, just in tshirt, shorts, slippers (do hair only ma) and a cap to cover my unstyled hair (cos want to rebond so no need spray until immobile). I just gave her my 0_0! face cos I was surprised by her greeting and it was stil so early for someone to be that bouncy. If I were to throw her against the wall, she confirm will bounce back.

Anyhows, so I thought I was in good hands la since she puji me all that aisey~. sekali, wait for it wait for it. she started playing with my hair asking me how I want my hair to be. So I told her, just trim off the ends and shape it abit. She replied with penuh confidence, like u can see it overflowing, “ok, will do”. And so the session started, so far so good cos her assistant was super attentive, ironing layer by layer. I just sat back and read magazines lo. Standard procedure for rebonding in almost all salons are the same, cream first then wash then blow dry then iron strait then neutralize and lastly trim then treatment rite? Correct me if im wrong. Dat was wat I experienced in other salons but not dis one. She go trim off the length first THEN neutralize then treatment then cut again. By then I was speechless la. I could not stop her already cos da cut takkan nak ask her to stop wait my hair cacat plak kn. Haiya. My fringe of cos I want asymmetrical, the shortest will end just at my right eyebrow but she cut ABOVE my eyebrow -______________- I emphasized the word CUT at the beginning cos she cut off my hair when I specifically asked for a trim. Do u just hate that? you asked for a trim but they gave you a cut.

So my conclusion, maybe she just jealous of me being pretty so she wanted to ugly-fy me. But if want to ugly-fy me pun agak agak ah. pfft! I went in looking “oh wow! You’re so pretty” but came out like one of Cinderella’s stepsister. Thanks eh. I just pulled on my cap thereafter.

Hope my hair grow by Thursday and Saturday la please. And dear friends, please be a dear and dun ask me out for at least a month, gimme grace period for my fringe to touch my eyebrow. Haha! yeah lor, very short sia. I stayed at home for 2 days die2 dowan go out, even to buy ice cream. Pathetic, yes.

Will post up pics of my “new” hair when it’s at “camwhoring” length already ok. For now, NO!

Oh yeah, I salon-hopped cos I haven found the most suitable place to rebond the hair. Suitable as in, affordable and they noe how to handle stubborn hair like mine. In total, I visited like 6 salons and and none of them left me a satisfied customer. The ONE salon at Century Square is by far the most ok one but too bloody hell expensive. I went home, 300bucks poorer but hair so much nicer. Hahahahaaa~ now in search for yet another salon before raya approaches.
