And so another one down and another round of me being “attacked” by the relatives (THIRD time already you noe! Spare me ah please?); “shahirah! When’s ur turn?” “shahirah bila nak kahwin?” “ade boyfriend tak?” and the ultimate question when I answered “no bf then want kahwin with who eh?” was “asal takde boyfriend?” oh hohoho dun look at me cos I myself have no idea why. my answers are either dunno or dun have or I just flashed them my famous -____- face. Haha! My mummy wasn’t spared either and all she answered was “ask her urself…” she oso da malas la I think.

Anyways, spotlight’s not on me hor. It’s my second cousin Wydiariny’s engagement that Saturday so yeah spotlight on her please.

we were late by a couple of minutes cos mama had to work dat day and yours truly was still sleeping when mama got back. SLEEPY LA! so I quickly bathed and got dressed and was out of the house in 1 and half hours. Usually I take 2 hours lo. So when we reached Kak Lin’s place (where the event was held) the groom’s team was already downstairs and we rushed up and alerted everyone. Whoa~! The place was packed even before the groom’s team arrived so when they arrived, we were all like sardines in a can. Nowhere to move already. Like they brought over the whole battalion (ehem!) like dat. Haha! And me, I was standing beside the buffet area so first pictures of the day were …

the groom’s team. They took up most of the living room area lo. Me and my relatives were trapped at the corners, the door and the kitchen -_-!. Very fierce hor they all.

and soo the “meeting”, I dunno wat its called, began. Macam inside court like dat, everyone was quiet and listening attentively.

the “shopping” money (that’s wat they say la I was just quoting them) ongoing thorough inspection. Betul nye kira my pak long. Ahahah!

So after the talks and doas, the ladies proceeded to meet the bride, my cousin, Riny, to sarong the ring. Too many people like I was running thru an obstacle course like dat and by the time I went in, da sarong pun. -_-! I never get to snap a picture.

aaah there she is, all groomed up and well-behaved. Hehehee!

baby torres like wondering who is the giant cradling him. HAHAH! And double chin tuck in eh! Tsk~ so after stuffing our faces and playing with baby torres, we found out that the groom came over so ape lagi we attack ah. as in take pictures wit the couple.

After the ceremony, we all gathered at kak lin’s living room and lepaked, chitchatted, chilled, makan-ed (for me la heh!) till abt 8plus before heading home.

and so, another one of my girl cousins has been legally engaged. No wonder the giant smile and the giant rock around her finger too. Hahaha!
